Mini Response #2

Mini Response # 2

1) Some of the ways you can develop a sense of place are:

Questioning: going to a place and asking important questions that others might hear and realize they should recognize that place more.

Telling Stories: stories are told to teach life lessons, by selecting a location and creating a teaching story that is connected to the place you are at

Orienting To a Place: select something outdoors and examine it carefully, look at it from four different directions

2) For developing a sense of place in Salem, I went downtown and went to the Dunkin Donuts on Washington Street. I noticed the sounds of toasters and coffee makers while I sipped my iced coffee enjoying the taste of it.

3)  I haven't done anything in the article for developing a sense of place in Salem yet.

4)  I would like to go to a place and asking questions that others might realize they should appreciate that place more. I might go to the park near the Salem Witch Museum.

5) I'm afraid to stay in the present because I have had trouble staying in the present in the past.

6) I have no interest in trying to listen to water because it wouldn't make sense that you would hear english words through water.
